Rhino Etosha
Dont like flying? This mobile safari allows you to enjoy Namibia with both feet on the ground! Twelve days of Namibia's best, with your own driver/guide, exploring the country. Accommodation is in lodges making this a superb and comfortable experience.
Departing from Windhoek, travel north to Okonjima Lodge, home of the AFRICAT Foundation. Activities here include a nature hike, leopard or cheetah excursion, viewing nocturnal animals at the night hide as well as birding at the bird hide. Head on towards Etosha National Park, one of the biggest game reserves in Africa, where you will spend the next four days exploring the park and game viewing.
Bushmen Rock Art Namibia
Explore the Damaraland area visiting the Twyfelfontein rock engravings and paintings, Namibia's “open air museum", before heading south to Uis and then the Skeleton Coast. The landscape changes here from mopani vegetation (semi-desert) and granite hills, to wide-open landscapes as one approaches the Skeleton Coast. Spend a night at the Cape Cross Nature Reserve, home to a breeding colony of over 100000 Cape Fur Seals.
Quad Biking Namibia
Two days will be spent in Swakopmund along the Skeleton Coast with a half-day visit to Walvis Bay to visit the lagoon and bird sanctuary, a RAMSA site and National Heritage (over 200000 birds). The rest of the time is free to explore the town or join one of the optional activities on offer. These activities range from scenic flights and dolphin boat cruises to dune boarding and dune 4X4 quad biking.
Dead Vlei Namibia
Dead Pan Drive over the Namib gravel plains, via the Kuiseb Canyon to the central Namib in the Sossusvlei area. Excursions to the beautiful Sossusvlei Dunes, Sesriem Gorge, Dune 45 and Dead Pan, offer fantastic photo opportunities as the dunes change color right before your eyes. The safari ends in Windhoek where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your flight home.
